DESAFIO 3: “A MILKY CHALLENGE (UN DESAFÍO DE LA LECHE)”

 

Aprovechando el Proyecto Europeo en el que participamos desde el curso pasado denominado HELTHY EUROPEAN YOUTH, vamos a proponer a nuestros alumnos este desafío relacionado con la leche y sus derivados. Todos los trabajos realizados se publicarán en una revista y que llegarán al resto de los 9 países que participan en el proyecto. Por lo que este último desafío del trimestre es de gran responsabilidad para nuestros alumnos, por la dimensión internacional. A continuación en perfecto Inglés, los profesores de Lengua Inglesa Javier y Paqui describen las pautas de la actividad, que serán concretadas con los alumnos el Lunes 22 de Febrero a las 15:00 horas. All you ready?

In this new English challenge, working in groups, you will have to look into topics which have dairy products as its central point, or themes related to them (stories, games, comics, myths...). These are the topics:

1. Make a presentation using Google Drive containing information about: “Food that has dairy substances or milk derivatives”.

2. Make a presentation using Google Drive containing information about  the different types of cheese that are elaborated in Spain and its names.

3. Translate and illustrate the Spanish well-known tale “ El Cuento de la Lechera”.

4. Do you know any story or short tale related to cheese, milk or dairy products? Ask your family and friends for more information. Make a comic from what you get.

5. A classical myth: “The Milky Way”, look for the reason for this name in English… and in Spanish. Tell us the classical myth. You can do a comic or make a presentation with images taken from internet.

6. Using Google Drive, write an article explaining what is  “un diente de leche” in Spanish. How do you call in English? Who is the “Ratón Pérez”? Who takes the “dientes de leche” in other countries?

7. Games with dairy products. Crosswords, word puzzles, games (spot the differences...) etc…

Each group will carry out a point. At the end we can elaborate a magazine with that information which will be taken to the Erasmus + meeting in Greece and delivered in 8 European countries.
